The short version
If we do not deliver your report, or it is materially defective and we cannot fix it, you get your money back. Ask within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the full price to your original payment method.
When we refund
- Not delivered. The report never reached a ready state, the link never worked, or the PDF would not download, and we could not resolve it.
- Materially defective. The PDF is unreadable, covers a different address than the one you entered, or is missing the sections described on the product page, and a corrected report cannot be provided.
- Duplicate or unauthorized charge. You were charged more than once for the same order, or you did not place the order.
When we usually do not refund
- You are unhappy with what the data shows. The report faithfully summarizes public NOAA radar data, so a result such as “no hail detected” is not a defect.
- You entered the wrong address. If you tell us quickly we will try to reissue the report for the right address at no charge, once.
- The report was delivered and downloaded as described and the request comes after the 14-day window.
The Storm Impact Report is a digital product delivered immediately after purchase. Where the law gives you additional refund or cancellation rights, those rights are not affected by this policy.
How to ask for a refund
Contact us (Support contact coming soon) and include the email address you used at checkout and your report ID (shown on your report page and in My reports). We reply within 2 business days.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original card through Stripe. After we approve a refund it normally appears within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. When a refund is issued, access to that report’s PDF is removed.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; a refund through us is faster. See the Terms of Sale for how we handle disputes.
